Bright Grey: Evidence going down, underwriting limits going up!
Categories: Protection
We recently improved our financial and medical underwriting limits for our Personal and Business Protection Menus.
We've changed the way we ask for routine medical evidence. So, for example, for Life Cover for someone under 35, with cover between £750,001 and £1,000,000, we'll now ask for a paramed instead of a GP report. Generally, parameds are completed quicker than GP reports so this improvement will help get more of your clients on risk faster.
We've also increased salary multiples. So, for clients under 41, looking for a relevant life policy, you can now offer them up to 20 times their salary. And we've increased the amount of cover we'll accept before asking for a financial questionnaire.
